Nottingham Mining Museum are raising £30,000 towards creating a permanent memorial to the 3000 miners who died in Nottinghamshire’ pits and materials for schools to pass on our history to future generations.
They Died In Darkness explores the tragic history of Nottinghamshire mining as well as the roles wives and families played in creating a better life for all.
The project has received generous backing from local unions, councils and businesses to get us started but we also your support. Shining The Light is a community led project and we need your donation.
